Because of Him

No alarm clock today. Just snuggles with the love of my life as I'm still half asleep.
Next thing I know I wake up, alone this time but can hear a distant and quiet moving of pots and pans.
He's making our breakfast.
I love him.

We watched videos testifying of our Savior Jesus Christ over breakfast. I love how the spirit enfuses our home with love, peace and joy.

Now I sit here typing, struggling to find the words, wishing that I could really express what is in my heart and on my mind. Next to me is my husband...reading through his mission book I made 2 Christmas' ago. He smiles and laughs as he reads his own letters and remembers.
I love missions.


Yesterday there was bright sunshine, laughing children, colorful eggs throughout the yard. Family members catch up on recent happenings while young parents armed with cameras to get the perfect shot chase their children who are chasing down easter eggs and treasure hunt clues around the neighborhood.More laughter. Singing happy birthday. Celebrating the season, tradition and each other.
I love family.

I feel the wind on my face. The grass beneath my feet. I listen to the birds in the trees. The thrill of exercise runs through my veins as my heart pumps faster. I marvel at the creations of the Lord, and that I can enjoy them. Murray Park, one of my favorite places. Full of memories and beautiful sights.
I love the outdoors.
 

Dinner with the Bangerters and Pres. & Sister Thompson

Two young couples sit at a table with their role models; a husband and wife 30 years their senior yet they talk like a friend. They are full of love, support, laughter, funny jokes, advice, forever helpful. They share stories of the power and importance of friendship, how he traveled across the country to visit a dying friend even though he could only have 30 minutes with him. They ask the younger 4 what the resurrection of Jesus Christ really means to them. Each answer strengthens the soul.

I love true friends.




Hope for a better world today. The light that puts out despair. The greatest love that will ever be known. Peace when the waves only grow higher. What brings a smile to your face. HE is the source of all joy, all happiness, all healing, of all the things I love. It is truly because of him that there is any light in our lives. Even when we don't recognize or acknowledge it. HE is the source. It is because of Him.
There are many things I love. But most of all I love the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I haven't seen Him . . .
But I still know he lives.
